Kelantan, who were struggling in the start but picked up when it matters the most would surely thread this game with caution as they let go a 1 goal lead in the FA cup final against Terengganu. Led by the evergreen Karathu, the team has the biggest fanbase in Malaysia and they would surely their fans support to push them through.

This game would surely see the likes of Badhri Radzi, Shakir Shaari, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Marzuki Yusoff, Ismail Faruqi and Ashaari Shamsuddin pit against each other in a grueling 2 leg tie.

M. Karathu, with bags of experience would surely want to emulate his predecessor, B.Sathianathan, who helped Kelantan to win the Malaysia Cup after 30 years. Having bags of potential in his squad, his tactics would be vital in bringing out the best out of his players.

As for Irfan Bakti, he has formed a formidable with lots of youngsters and National players. Having groomed them since SUKMA days, Terengganu is the true epitome of developing young stars. Ismail Faruqi, Ashaari Shamsuddin and Abdul Hadi Yahaya who first started for the SUKMA Terengganu team are now stars in their own rights and they have been selected by Datuk K.Rajagopal for many games.

In this, Badhri Radzi would prove to be the lynchpin of the team, as the skipper is determined to hold the coveted trophy for a 2nd time. Having impressed in the group stages, the playmaker of the team, orchestrated the attacks very well and many pundits have seen him as an inspirational figure in the team. He and Norshahrul would surely be relied by Karathu to break open the defense marshalled by Marzuki Yusoff.

As for Terengganu, they would surely rely on 26 year old out and out forward, Ashaari Samsuddin. The National player has been sensational for Terengganu all this years though he was overshadowed by Abdul Hadi Yahya's goalscoring exploits in the Super League. His assist, goals and workrate is an asset for the Kuala Terengganu based team and many fans would be expecting him to rip apart the Kelantan defense. He and Joseph Kallang Tie will be the wingers tasked to terrorise Daudsu Jamaluddin and Mohd Aziz Ismail.

This one tie you shouldn't miss and we shall see who prevails in this east coast derby. Seeing either one of these teams out would be disappointing but this is the Malaysia Cup. The best team prevails to hoist aloft the prestigious HMS Cup!
