Never in this world, would we have expected both these teams to qualify but against all odds, they have qualified for the quarter finals! Justin Ganai, who have steadied the ship whereas Yunus Alif has finally found the right ingredient to mould the team into a strong side.

As for Sabah, after 2 years, they are back in the Super League. However, they found it hard to sustain in the league and Gary Phillips resigned halfway through the league. Justin Ganai who took over midway through the season, has done a great job so far with an average squad.
Sabah will surely be relying on their home support as the team for Borneo has been impressive in the group stages. Being able to dislodge Kedah for the 2nd spot, Sabah is well prepared for this tie. Though, the strikers have been misfiring, Zainizam Marjan, an attacking midfielder, has taken the goalscoring responsibilities for the team. The team's midfield is also strong as the likes of Zumardy Jemair and Sharul Azhar Ture have revelled in the roles.
T team would surely rely on their experienced hands to spearhead the challenge of the team. The likes of Rosdi Talib, Subree Sulong, Nor Fadzly Alias and Indra Putra Mahayuddin have been impressive in the Malaysia Cup. Yunos Alif at last managed to bring out the best out of his players.
Sabah would surely rely on the experience of Zainizam Marjan as the 31 year old always shines when it comes to Malaysia Cup.Having plied his trade with the team for a very long time, Zainizam is surely the man to bring Sabah to the next level. His pace, passes and finishing may have waned but he makes it up for his experience.

Yunos Alif and Justin Ganai are two experienced heads and when i interviewd with Ganai, his was open about the frailties of the team and I'm sure he will come up with a plan to improve it. Yunos is an experienced tactician and he has the experience of being in this stages. Thus, this would be an open affair and the man with the best tactics, would surely come out as winners.
Favourites to win: T Team - Experience and class on their side
Player to watch: Norfarhan Mohammad - Classy lad who has the tendency to impress in the big stage
