The league which has former Champions League teams like MSK Zilina and Slovan Bratislava, will help the players grow as capable footballers and at the same time, help expand the Malaysian talent pool around Europe and Asia.
Fc ViOn who are currently placed third in the Corgon Liga, took this players on merit and not on marketing based purposes. According to ViOn's President, Villiam Ondrejka, the players impressed the coaching staff of ViOn as they showed great determination and tenacity during training and friendly matches.
Milan Galaba, the team's sports manager, hailed the sigining of the players as he said it will revitalise the team for the Corgon Liga and with young fresh legs, the team will have much depth to give a fight against teams like Zilina and Bratislava.
Ong Kim Swee, Harimau Muda's Coach and Numero uno, thanked ViOn for drafting the players into the squad. He stated that this will be beneficial for the Malaysian and these three players will inspire youngsters in Malaysia to achieve the dream that they have never thought in their lives.
The player signed a short term loan contract till 30th October 2011 and if they impress during their tenure, their contract will be extended. Irfan, Fadhli and Zack will not follow the Harimau Muda squad for the training stint at Japan and they will be continuing their Ramadhan at Slovakia.
Three of these players who have been in the National Under-21 set up for the past 3 years have been tipped for stardom thanks to their performances in the Malaysian Super League and Olympic Qualifying games with Pakistan and Lebanon.
After Akmal Rizal Rakhli, Juzaili Samion and Titus James, these players will keep the Malaysian Flag flying at European soil.
