Mentally, we are not there yet!

Two losses in a row. Malaysia put up a convincing display but their mental composure is something to poner about. Tan Beng Hai will be scratching his head as his team let go a 2 lead against Asian powerhouses, South Korea.

Against Pakistan, they could have gotten a draw but their carefree style of play allowed Pakistan to score the winning goal in their first match up at Ordos, China.

Since the Sultan Azlan Shah cup, Malaysia have shown lack concentration during the final minutes of any game and in the Asian Champions Cup trophy, we seem to be showing that nervy attribute in Ordos.

To become at least an Asian class team, we should be ready physically and mentally to face any teams. The optimism is there but the never ending optimism is spoiled by the lack of composure shown by our players.

We may have the Best Goalkeeper in Asia, the man dubbed as 'Messi's hockey and two player who have lighted up the Australian League but if we do not rectify this problem then their callings are to no avail.

Stephen Van Huizen and Tan Beng Hai should come up with a condusive plan to rectify this problem. It happens in every tournament and since the Asian Games, they have been somewhat on a downward spiral.

We have youngsters to bring us forward but something has to be done in order for us to repeat the Commonwealth heroics

The two defeats in Ordos is not a good sign and the Malaysian Hockey Federation should do something before the situation worsens.

We have the players and depth but we need that extra charisma to standout from the rest. Mentally we are not there yet but we have to make it happen soon.

Avinesh's verdict: Things are not going as planned...please rekindle the days of commonwealth..we need someone like Mirnawan Nawawi to rectify this problem..a REAL leader in the team is needed..
